10/18/13

This weekend's homework is the following:

1. Read and gather information about earthquakes and volcanoes in preparation for next week's lessons. Relevant information includes:
- what are earthquakes/volcanoes
- the types/classifications of earthquake/volcano that occur and their characteristics
- where each primarily occurs (as in the type of place and some actual examples)
- how each can affect life on Earth
- how each is related to plate tectonics

2. Begin preparing for Thursday and Friday's exam. Starting with the notes about the characteristics of planet Earth and what makes it habitable, review your notes, exit cards, and check-ins. Review time in class and exam practice questions will be forthcoming next week.
